Lyon, which is one of the world capitals of gastronomy and about to open its famous International City of Gastronomy at the heart of a richly-productive region and area, is the perfect choice to host this joint meeting, in addition to its structural and accommodation capacities.
It’s the first time since 1988 that the 2 conventions are set to be held together.
This project, promoted by OnlyLyon Tourism and Conventions, was managed by INRA (French National Institute for Agricultural Research) Clermont Ferrand and its national management.
More than 2,000 participants are expected for the occasion, at the end of August 2023, at Lyon Convention Centre.
The next European convention will be held at the end of August 2019 in Ghent
The last world convention was held in Vancouver back in 2018, and the next one will be in 2023, in Lyon!
