International Conference on Health Safety (WHO) - 22 to 23 March at Lyon Convention Centre – 350 delegates
Considered the 'COP 21' of health, this conference organised by the World Health Organization (WHO), will discuss global health risks such as epidemics. 500 experts, including Ministers of Health from different countries and Heads of State, will spend two days debating this issue on which Lyon is at the forefront. Lyon is home to the P4 laboratory, Sanofi and Merial. This international summit is a consecration for the Lyon biodistrict.
Congress of the Société Francophone du Diabète – 22 to 25 March at Lyon Convention Centre – 4.400 delegates
Already held in Lyon in 2005, the Congrès de la Société Francophone du Diabète (Convention of the French-speaking Diabetes Society) is back in town with more than 4,400 delegates over 3 days. This congress brings together practitioners and researchers but also paramedics and industrialists.
Forum Labo & Biotech – 30 to 31 March at Lyon Convention Centre – 2.000 delegates
Previously organised every other year in Paris, Forum Labo & Biotech, dedicated to laboratory equipment is, as of this year, organised each year, alternating between Paris and Lyon. The 1st Lyon edition already looks set to be a success as the show has completed its exhibitor quota with more than 150 companies presenting across 2000m² of stands.
