To coincide with Lyon being included in the NY Times list as one of the 52 places to go in 2019, in partnership with ONLYLYON, the Promotion Department of OnlyLyon Tourism and Conventions organised an outstanding event designed to present the city to American travel professionals on Tuesday 17th September 2019 at the New York Times’ premises.

Around sixty tour operators and travel agents gathered on site for a seminar chaired by François Gaillard, the CEO of OnlyLyon Tourism and Conventions, and Blandine Thenet, Promotions Director, followed by a cocktail reception masterminded by Daniel Boulud, Lyon’s most famous chef in the United States.

Lyon’s representatives naturally focused on promoting the International City of Gastronomy, which opens next month, to its target audience.

At the same time and on the same day, ONLYLYON revitalised the community of ONLYLYON ambassadors in New York and organised a press lunch at Daniel Boulud’s gourmet restaurant.
