From the 12th to the 14th of March 2019, the Promotion Team welcomed 50 tour operators from the Middle East (including Qatar, the United Arab Emirates, Kuwait, Bahrain and Saudi Arabia).

This educational tour was organised by Disneyland Paris, which for the past three years has invited professionals from these countries to discover the amusement park. Usually, the visiting guests then go on to discover Paris. This year, however, the organisers wanted to introduce them to another region, in collaboration with Atout France.

Staying at the Carlton, Sofitel, Royal and Boscolo hotels, they spent a day exploring the destination, with a guided tour of Fourvière and Vieux-Lyon (Old Lyon), followed by a river boat cruise on the Saône with Bateaux Lyonnais.
They were also given a morning presentation of the destination and the Auvergne Rhône-Alpes region.

This was their first time in Lyon and they went away delighted and won over!
