Despite the difficult times we are going through, with restaurants closed for weeks on end, the famous guide decided to maintain its traditional approach that focuses ratings on a short period, unlike most of its competitors.

This edition has added two new stars to Lyon’s food scene, in recognition of the know-how of the restaurants Miraflorès (Lyon 6) and Rustique (Lyon 2) which have been awarded one star each. They have been added to those already earned in previous years by the following:

Two Green Stars
Christian Têtedoie received a Green Star this year, joining Prairial, which already has one. The Michelin Green Star rewards contributors to sustainable gastronomy that are working with “Respect for the land, seasonality and animals, and a commitment to eating better.”
Bib Gourmand distinctions
Lastly, among our members, four restaurants have maintained their ‘Bib Gourmand’, which is given to establishments offering excellent value for money.
They are as follows: Le Kitchen Café (2016) (Lyon 7), Le Canut et les Gones (2018) (Lyon 4), Substrat Restaurant (2018) OLTC (Lyon 4), M Restaurant (Lyon 6).
These have been joined by the following: Agastache, La Table 101, Le Jean Moulin, Le Tiroir, Racine, Sauf Imprévu, Saveurs de Py and Saku Restaurant.
