Our responsible management system has just been certified in two main areas: the organisation and hosting of professional and public events; our work to promote the destination.
No less than ten strengths were highlighted in ONLYLYON Tourism's organisation such as:
- The joint formulation of a multi-year strategy with local stakeholders in the public and private sectors;
- The tools deployed by the teams to identify sustainable solutions for responsible events;
- A collective approach, both internally with the involvement of the teams in CSR, and externally with the engagement of our members;
- The assistance and support provided for all professional OLTC members for their transition to more sustainable tourism.
Once again in Lyon, it is the strength of collaborative work that has enabled us to achieve this certification. We are proud of the work done by our teams and would like to congratulate the destination’s professionals that are actively engaged with us. This certification demonstrates that our transition to more responsible tourism is based on facts. Lyon and the metropolitan area are recognised as a dynamic and exemplary destination. Let’s keep this momentum going!
