France competed with Belgium and Greece for this project.
The General Meeting of the International Mineralogical Association– IMA from the 20th to the 26th August 2022, which will gather together 1,500 participants.
This bid was supported and patronized at local level by the CNRS-ENS Earth Science Laboratory in Lyon Villeurbanne, and at national level by the French Society of Mineralogy and Cristallography.
